Theatre performance and workshop Anna

Anna is an interactive theatre performance and workshop that explores a series of real-life scenarios that may be experienced by learning disabled people when they consider being, or become, a parent.

The performance workshop is led by a team of three professional learning-disabled performers and a facilitator. Four scenes are presented to the audience who then have the opportunity to suggest changes to the behaviour of the characters / actions in the scenes to see if they can change the outcomes. The performers play out the changes and, if members of the audience want to, they can ‘step in’ and act out the scene themselves to see what would happen. Length – approx. 1.5 hours.

Anna can be booked by contacting Jess Boyes – jess@mind-the-gap.org.uk An on-line version of Anna will be available in spring 2021.
